Chapter Meeting

Speaker: Vanessa J Burkhead, Regional Whistleblower Investigator, DOL-OSHA, Region 4

Topic: Ms. Burkhead will provide a brief history of the OSHA Act, discuss Section 11(c) of the Act, discuss the actions that may support retaliation under any statue, and identify the employees that may file a complaint. She will discuss the elements for a prima facie filing of a complaint and what the recommended outcome may be based on the evidence. Ms. Burkhead will gladly answer questions.
